OCTOBER
Halloween Party
In partnership with local businesses
Our community Halloween event was a fantastic success, bringing families together for an evening full of fun and imagination. Children loved exploring the spooky Witches’ Den, while everyone enjoyed the free food, snacks, and drinks on offer. Arts and crafts were busy all night, with little monsters creating their own Halloween masterpieces.
The campfire added a cosy touch, especially with marshmallows to toast and warm hot chocolate to enjoy. We were also proud to offer a dedicated sensory hour for ASD children, creating a calm and inclusive start to the evening, along with a soft play area that kept our youngest visitors entertained. The spooky disco was a huge hit, with music, costumes, and plenty of dancing bringing the Halloween spirit to life.
Families also had great fun completing the spook trail scavenger hunt, discovering hidden surprises along the way. It was a wonderful celebration for all ages, and we can’t wait to do it again next year!
DECEMBER
Festive Floral Tea Dance
In partnership with Forward South
This Christmas the community association and it's wonderful volunteers kicked off festive celebrations with a tea dance for our local elderly community members! We had an absolute blast, with a great live singer, bingo, sweets & treats and much much more! Check out some of our highlights from the day!

Light up Belvoir
In partnership with Belvoir Park Primary School and Forward South
As the second part of our Christmas season events, the team made their way to Belvoir Primary School, for an evening of festive fun.
The volunteers and members of the school made this a light switch on to remember, from hot chocolate by the campfire, to a surprise visit from a VERY popular guest. Santa gathered the children to take part in a live count down for the switch on.

Santa's Christmas Party

Our third and final event of the Christmas season!
What a magical day it was at our Santa’s Christmas Party! Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the festive season, it was wonderful to see so many little smiling faces and families enjoying the fun together.
A huge thank-you to our amazing volunteer-elves, Mrs Claus and Santa! whose energy and festive spirit made the day so special for everyone.
